Love before vengeance — and after it

 ·  1 min read

The title is the plot and the warning. Love Before Vengeance is the novel where affection is the first weather and payback is the front that moves in behind it. Readers who came through Torn Lives already know the climate. This is a longer season in the same country.

Deception is not a spice I sprinkle for atmosphere. It is the mechanism. Someone is loved. Someone is lied to. Someone decides that the lie is now the only honest thing in the house, because at least the lie is theirs. I am interested in that decision more than I am interested in a tidy villain speech.

People ask whether the work is romance. It contains love. It contains heat. It is not a promise that love will behave. If you need the couple saved by the last chapter because the genre said so, I may not be your writer. If you need the couple seen, including the ugly turn, you are in the right place.

Find the book through the Amazon author page and on Goodreads. Then read what happens when love is not the ending — only the first act.
